Post-Op Charlie

Wow... What a crappy day! The poor boy woke up so stinkin' happy this morning, had no idea what was in store! He (and we!) are doing much better now and should be home tomorrow morning. The surgery actually went extremely well and we are grateful for Dr. Morales' skill. He's dealing with the pain & discomfort super well and just being a trooper. He tries to smile & it's cute & sad at the same time :)

    Oh man...his poor little mouth and those nasty arm thingies that won't let him bend his arms...oh man!!! He is however so stinkin cute!!!

    Sweet little Charlie. I hope he continues to heal well and is able to get those darn arm restraints and Logan's bow off soon. It's so hard seeing your kids go through things like this. I hope you are all doing well. Good luck with the recovery. I'll be thinking of you guys.

    I hope Charlie is feeling better today! I can't imagine how hard it is to be a parent seeing him hurt. One thing is his MD is AWESOME. I have heard so many wonderful things about him. One of my neighbors growing up was adopted from Korea and she had a horrible cleft lip and no palate and he did a wonderful job. She looked beautiful. Charlie is so darling and he will do awesome.
